10 Skein Fade on Squishy Sock Base
10 Skein Fade on Squishy Sock Base
Seeing these tonal Forever Colourways all together really sparked some inspiration for me, and I hope to spread some of the love by grouping these 10 skeins of Squishy Sock Base all together as a set!
A OOAK cross mix of Gentle Fawn and Driftwood, Soul Mate, Mountain Moss, a OOAK Inkwell wannabe, Vampire's Cloak, Mystic Mauve, Miss Scarlet, Rustic, Folklore and Gold Rush are just too good to be true when it comes to a gorgeous colour palette. They flow together in so many ways, either in a rainbow spectrum, or by alternating based on colour contrast, there are no limitations when it comes to colour play with a set like this!
Endless opportunities await for all of your creative endeavours, as there is enough yardage here for 2-3 sweaters (depending on the size), or a large colour block blanket, or 10 pairs of socks, or simply adding these colours to your stash could make a wonderful addition for tons of colour play and creativity.
I’m happy to offer this set at a discounted (-10%) price, as I would love to get these skeins on their way, to make room in the studio for new inventory!
Dyed onto my Squishy Sock Base, with a total of 4,370 yards, the possibilities are endless with a set of yarn like this.
Squishy Sock Base: A soft and plump fingering weight yarn, made up of 80% Superwash Merino Wool and 20% Nylon. Each skien is 114 grams and 437 yards. It has an 8 ply makeup, giving it a substantial feel for a fingering weight yarn. A perfect base for any item calling for a classic fingering weight yarn. It is machine washable on delicate cycle, thanks to its Superwash
treatment. This is a reliable and practical choice for items like socks, shawls, baby items and other wearable garments.
252It is a rare occurrence, and I do everything possible to avoid this, but there is always a chance of colour bleeding with the first wash. The photos used are chosen to best represent the true colourways, using natural, outdoor sunlight. I try my hardest to achieve consistency between dye lots. If you need a quick consultation while choosing colours, please let me know, I’d love to help!
