Hand Spun Yarn - 100% Targhee - Sweater Quantity

This marathon of a spin most certainly feels like a personal masterpiece! A sweater quantity of 2ply, fingering weight yarn, that has me swooning and mesmerized. 

A combo spin, using 100% Targhee fibre, I’m in awe of how these two completely separate colour palettes collided in the best ways possible. The sandy beiges and earthy terracotta brings a mellowness to the vibrant minty greens in a way that feels unexpected but totally meant to be. It’s giving retro, vintage, floral patterns, and I’m here for it!  

Dyed up onto 100% Targhee, the yarn itself has so much life and springy-ness to it. It bounces in a way only Targhee can! If you’ve never worked with hand spun yarn before, this beauty will turn you into an absolute believer in the magic of it. 

Split into two seperate skeins (but sold together as a set) due to the volume of yarn, the measurements are as follows:

Skein A:  1245 yards / 265grams

Skein B: 880 yards / 186 grams

Grand Total for the set together: 2,125 yards / 450 grams

You can count on gorgeous colour shifting as your project unfolds row by row, with long stretches of colour transitions throughout this hand spun yarn. 

Hand spun yarn is special to work with, as it really does have a personality of it’s own, compared to commercially spun yarn. It is, by nature, imperfect, making your hand knits even more wonderful and unique! 

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry to preserve the dyes and quality of the fabric.
