Hand Spun Yarn - 26 Micron Bluefaced Liecester Wool

This skein of hand spun yarn is so wooly and has such rustic character to it, it’s hard not to appreciate the raw nature of BFL spinning fibre! Greys, blues, with smaller runs of green and gold, this colour palette is easy to incorporate into any knitting project! 

This skein is 104 grams and approximately 520 yards, of a Fingering Weight yarn. The yarn itself is lively, and has great bounce to it. It was a ‘fractal spin’, using one half of the braid spun end to end, and the other half split lengthwise in three, giving nice stretches of gentle colour transitions which are a thrill to see unfold as you work through your project!

Hand spun yarn is special to work with, as it really does have a personality of it’s own, compared to commercially spun yarn. It is, by nature, imperfect, making your hand knits even more wonderful and unique! 

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry to preserve the dyes and quality of the fabric.
