10 Skein Mini Yarn Fade of Forever Colourways - Squishy Sock Base

The perfect colour sampler set, this fade was made up of some of the Forever Colourways I offer in the shop! 

Espresso, Inkwell, Midnight Blue, Driftwood, a OOAK very pale greenish beige, Olive, Mushroom, Golden Linen, Golden Hour and All Star are the perfect blend of big colours, and more quiet, all working together effortlessly! 

Each set comes with 10 mini skeins, each skein is 87 yards for a total of 870 yards per set.

There is one set that includes a skein of Inkwell that has a small knot/join in it that I couldn’t resolve, so the set has been discounted to reflect this.

Squishy Sock Base is a practical and reliable blend of 80% Superwash Merino Wool and 20% Nylon, making it a sturdy yarn yet it feels soft next to the skin. A great choice for baby items, socks, and shawls as it is machine washable on a delicate cycle.

The beauty of indie dyed yarns is that no two are identical, I recommend alternating skeins after each row for a more uniform look. It is a rare occurrence, and I do everything possible to avoid this, but there is always a chance of colour bleeding with the first wash. The photos used are chosen to best represent the true colourways, using natural, outdoor sunlight. I try my hardest to achieve consistency between dye lots.
