Atlantis - Luxe Sock Base

Atlantis is a very ‘batch sensitive’ dye recipe, and while using it for a personal project, I didn’t want to risk running out of yardage, and I over shot what I actually needed for my sweater. 

Two brand new, untouched skeins of Luxe Sock Base are up for grabs! And I hope you enjoy working with this base in this colourway as much as I did! I’ve included a photo of my sweater’s fabric, that I made holding this yarn double stranded, to give you an idea. Although using it single stranded will give your colours a sharper and less ‘muddled’ look! 

Murky greens, pops of aquas, and mystical purples await you in every yard of this beautiful batch of yarn! 

Luxe Sock Base: Luxe Sock is made up of 75% Ultra Fine Merino Wool, 15% Mulberry Silk, and 10% Cashmere. Each skien is 100 grams and 437 yards, 2ply construction. This yarn base is heavenly soft against the skin, and perfect for a special project calling for a high end fingering weight yarn. The Mulberry Silk adds drape and lustre, and the cashmere creates a fuzzy halo effect as you work with it. The colours of dye tend to shine through, looking much more striking and rich compared to some of my samples on Superwash bases. Hand wash only.
