Hand Dyed Mini Yarn Gradient

Please note, the warm brown hue in this gradient leans to the oranger side in person, and in the photos the camera doesn’t seem to pick up the orange as well as it should.

This super simple mini gradient was created with one idea in mind: colour work! 

Dyed in one smooth, continuous strand of yarn, the colours slowly shift from one hue to the next, effortlessly without the nuisance of joins and knots. 

Each mini is 40 grams and 150 yards of Squishy Sock Base, the perfect length for a 'contrast colour' throughout the colourwork section for the yoke of a sweater. This fingering weight yarn, made up of 80% Superwash Merino Wool and 20% Nylon, is beautiful choice for a classic yarn blend, that is soft yet will stand up to tons of washes and wear.

Due to the delicate nature of the sock blanks shown here in the photos, I will ship you your gradient in 'cake form', ready to work with from either end.

Each mini gradient is a One of a Kind creation and cannot be replicated exactly. I've created each fade of colour to work well with a variety of Forever Colourways offered here at Hidden Pond Yarns, for easy project planning and colour pairing.
