Hand Dyed Yarn Gradient

Hand dyed yarn gradients are so special to work with, you have to see it to believe it!

Dyed in one smooth, continuous strand of yarn, the colours slowly shift from one hue to the next, effortlessly without the nuisance of joins and knots. 

Each gradient is 210 grams and 800 yards of Squishy Sock Base, and ideal amount for a shawl, or a contrast colour for larger colour work projects. This fingering weight yarn, made up of 80% Superwash Merino Wool and 20% Nylon, is beautiful choice for a classic yarn blend, that is soft yet will stand up to tons of washes and wear.

Due to the delicate nature of the sock blanks shown here in the photos, I will ship you your gradient in 'cake form', ready to work with from either end.

Each gradient is a One of a Kind creation and cannot be replicated exactly. I've created each fade of colour to work well with a variety of Forever Colourways offered here at Hidden Pond Yarns, for easy project planning and colour pairing.
