Hand Spun Yarn - 100% Superwash Merino Wool

This 100% Superwash Merino fibre was spun up into a worsted weight, 2 ply yarn, using my Ashford E-Spinner. This skein took about 12 hours to spin, which is why the price point is elevated in comparison to commercially spun yarn. 

I used 22 Micron Superwash Merino Fibre from the Mix & Match Mini Buns Set, which can be found in the Spinning Fibre Section of my website. Distinct colours of blues and  golds, greys and coppers, will create a gentle gradient striped effect one knit up, which can be such a delight and joy to see come alive within your project!

This skein is 157 grams and approximately 462 yards, of an Aran Weight/ Worsted Weight yarn. The yarn itself is soft, and has great bounce to it, the colours are vibrant and crisp.

Hand spun yarn is special to work with, as it really does have a personality of it’s own, compared to commercially spun yarn. It is, by nature, imperfect, making your hand knits even more wonderful and unique! 

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry to preserve the dyes and quality of the fabric.
