Hand Spun Yarn - 100% Polwarth - Sweater Quantity

I am not shy to declare this sweater quantity of hand spun yarn, my Masterpiece of 2026’s Tour De Fleece. It’s giving rusty rainbow, and I’m in love with how the colours collided in this 2ply fingering weight yarn. 

Dyed up onto 100% Polwarth, the yarn itself has so much life and springy-ness to it. If you’ve never worked with hand spun yarn before, this beauty will turn you into an absolute believer in the magic of it. 

Split into two seperate skeins (but sold together as a set) due to the volume of yarn, the measurements are as follows:

Skein A:  1073 yards / 215 grams

Skein B: 1433 yards / 279 grams

Grand Total for the set together: 2506 yards / 494 grams

You can count on gorgeous colour shifting as your project unfolds row by row, with long stretches of colour transitions throughout this hand spun yarn. 

Hand spun yarn is special to work with, as it really does have a personality of it’s own, compared to commercially spun yarn. It is, by nature, imperfect, making your hand knits even more wonderful and unique! 

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry to preserve the dyes and quality of the fabric.
