Hand Spun Yarn - Blend of Superwash Merino Wool and Silk

This very special skein of hand spun yarn is a beautiful reflection of what happens when you experiment with combination spinning! 

Using one bobbin of a vibrant spectrum of greens, and hints of black (100% Superwash Merino) and one bobbin of shimmery golden browns (35% Silk and 65% Superwash Merino) and plying them together, with them colliding into perfection! 

Big colours, and a twist of glittery gold brings tons of happy energy to this skein of hand spun, which clocks in at a heavy DK weight/ Worsted weight yarn

This skein is 84 grams and approximately 295 yards. A perfect amount of yardage for a contrast colour in a sweater, or shawl. The yarn itself is soft, and has great bounce to it, the colours are bold and vibrant.

Hand spun yarn is special to work with, as it really does have a personality of it’s own, compared to commercially spun yarn. It is, by nature, imperfect, making your hand knits even more wonderful and unique! 

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry to preserve the dyes and quality of the fabric.
